- Originate and execute M&A, private capital financing and credit structuring transactions
- Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis, LBO modlings, research and prepare pitch materials
- Support restructuring ancillary investment banking origination initiatives
- Assist with the delivery of P&L and mandates across practices and actively pursue marketing and business development opportunities for the firm
- Build and maintain investors (e.g. credit funds and family offices, etc.) and clients relationships
- Support administrative tasks, including internal deal execution approval processes, investors databases, weekly materials, pipeline lists, compliance matters, and trainings, etc.
- Coordinate with internal and external counterparts throughout deal origination and execution processes
- Build relationships internally across different segments to cross sell services to clients
- Participate in strategic planning of engagements and potential engagements
- Master or Bachelor in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business and/or Accounting related discipline.
- Over 6 to 8 years of experience in investment banking, credit and/or financial / transaction advisory.
- Solid experience in M&A, structured finance, private credit or other transactions advisory work at a bank or an international boutique advisory house would be preferred. Similar experience in a consultancy and advisory environment would be an advantage.
- Strong financial modelling skills and ability to run and analyse complex financial information is a MUST
- CFA, CPA, SFC licenses holder or other relevant qualifications would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is preferred
- Strong financial modelling (especially LBO), quantitative and analytics skills
- Solid knowledge of M&A, structured finance, financial restructuring, FDD and valuation
- Detailed knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles
- Is a self-starter with the ability to work in high-intensity and multi-tasking environment
- Able to work independently with minimal or no supervision
- Strong work ethic and integrity and high level of professionalism
