This is a newly created position for a seasoned HR professional with fluent Mandarin and English language skills.Job DescriptionReporting the Group Head of HR , you will lead a team in HK and oversee the HR teams in other regions. You will be responsible for formulating and implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with overall business objectives. You will oversee the full spectrum of HR and Administration operations to ensure consistency and compliance with local market practices and regulatory standards, as well as staying close with the leadership there to discuss on budget, headcount planning, annual reviews, recruitment needs and provide HR expert advice on reward and performance management and talent success plans. Acting as a strategic partner to senior management across regions, you will stay abreast of their updated people agenda, and support the Global Head of HR on preparing HR data and reports for the remuneration committee meetings. Additionally, the role involves managing manpower allocation, enhancing operational effectiveness, and fostering employee engagement through communication and team-building activities. Occasional business travel and ad hoc duties may be required as assigned by the company.The Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate will be a degree holder in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with a proven track record in HR & Administration, preferably with experience working for listed Chinese companies , state owned enterprise or sizable Chinese firms with regional or global presence, open to industry background. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Hong Kong with solid knowledge of HR labour laws and regulatory standards, along with excellent leadership and communication skills. A strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is essential.
