  • Own and lead the QA strategy for life insurance system implementations, covering policy administration, claims, underwriting, and customer portals.
  • Oversee the review and refinement of User Requirements (URS) and Functional Requirements (FRS), ensuring test coverage across frontend, middleware, and backend components.
  • Design and manage comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and cases tailored to life insurance workflows, including batch jobs, APIs, data interfaces, and user journeys.
  • Lead the preparation and management of test data for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring realistic and complete coverage of business processes.
  • Supervise and execute test cases in UAT environments, validating system performance, data accuracy, and backend logic across integrated platforms.
  • Coordinate and facilitate UAT sessions with business users, providing guidance and support for complex functionalities and cross-system interactions.
  • Analyze test results to identify defects, performance issues, and integration gaps, and drive resolution with development and infrastructure teams.
  • Track and report QA metrics, test progress, and defect trends to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct post-implementation health checks and production verifications to ensure system stability and operational readiness.
  • Mentor junior testers and promote best practices in system testing, documentation, and collaboration.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in system testing or QA, with at least 2 years in a leadership or coordination role.
  • Proven experience in life insurance systems or similar enterprise platforms is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of system testing methodologies, including integration, regression, performance, and UAT.
  • Hands-on experience with backend validation techniques, batch processing, API testing, and data flow analysis.
  • Proficient in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
