From welcoming new colleagues, to best-in-class leadership development, you can be sure that potential is identified and nurtured throughout your career.Sales is seeking for a Manager, Global Sales Distribution who is responsible for developing and executing a global strategic plan for third-party distribution to reduce sales costs and support direct booking strategies.As our Manager, Global Sales Distribution, we will rely on you to:
  • Develop and implement Global Distribution Strategy in collaboration with Sales, Digital Marketing and Revenue Management
  • Support Global Distribution in devising and rolling out channel shift strategy from third-party distributors to internal channels or lower cost channels in key compression markets
  • Manage Hybrid strategy with Regional Sales Leaders and Revenue Optimization
  • Perform research, analyze reporting, and provide consultation on new intermediary business models
  • Use reporting & market insights tools to target hotels requiring additional support and work closely to educate and support specific hotels to achieve higher channel profitability
  • Actively support Global Distribution in the negotiation of intermediary Agreements
  • Drive revenue from all third-party online channels with Global Distribution to meet established targets
  • Lead contract negotiations with Online Travel Platforms, OTAs and Alternate Distribution Partners with Dynamic contracting
  • Actively manage OTA and Wholesale Online accounts assigned to him/her personally
  • Reinforce rate parity compliance and monitor SLIM certified distribution partners contract compliance with particular emphasis on search landscape
  • Work toward moving traditional wholesale partners to seamless product delivery, with dynamic connectivity
  • Gain internal support for marketing and promotional opportunities from Brand Marketing, Regional Marketing, Regional Revenue Management teams and Hotels for third-party campaigns
  • Provide leadership, support, education and guidance to hotels and regional teams to strategically grow and manage their distribution channels (i.e. OTA) business
  • Devise process maps for online divisional campaigns and drive implementation, participation and compliance
  • Develop and implement all relevant training material as required
  • Report activities, achieved targets, contracted revenue and new player information to HQ Sales & Distribution periodically
We are looking for someone who has:
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role with a third-party distribution company or supplier
  • In-depth experience in distribution account management, project management, analytics and deliver on execution, innovation and optimization. Experience in revenue management will be a bonus
  • Demonstrated ability to activate strategy and manage cross-functional projects effectively
  • Strong negotiation, sales, and presentation skills
  • Able to translate business needs into actionable plans, monitor progress against timelines, and maintain high performance standards
  • Works well independently and thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Makes customer-focused decisions using data analysis, balancing short- and long-term brand and business goals
  • Displays enthusiasm, creativity, and builds strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Understands, communicates, and supports corporate policies and guidelines
