Design & Product Development Manager

- Lead the full product lifecycle from concept, trend analysis, and design through prototyping, costing and launch
- Provide creative direction for home categories, ensuring alignment with client brand identities and market dynamics
- Develop targeted product programs and seasonal collections
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business development, sales, sourcing, and merchandising teams
- Oversee design output, ensuring high standards, commercial viability and on-time delivery
- Support visual merchandising strategies, mood boards and product storytelling
- Have 8-10+ years of experience in product development and design, ideally within home decor, furnishings, soft home etc.
- Experience working with or supporting international retailers, with strong knowledge of U.S. retail cycles, private labels, and consumer trends
- Proven ability to manage programs from concept to market
- Understanding of global sourcing landscapes, supplier capabilities, and regional manufacturing
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience in developing client facing tools
- Ability to sketch by hand or read 2D/3D designs is an advantage
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Design, Manufacturing, Product Engineering or related
