  • Develops good understanding of the M&A lifecycle and Deloitte’s policies, processes, tools, resources and solutions to support our clients
  • Utilizes Mergers & Acquisitions related tax concepts to develop deep understanding of the target and the potential tax implications of the transaction
  • Determine the economic impact of the provisions, including indemnities, working capital calculation, and covenants
  • Provides initial recommendations based on current M&A tax legislation to engagement leadership
  • Synthesizes and analyzes data to develop efficient alternative structuring considerations to the proposed transaction
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge of the key capabilities required to deliver a high quality service experience to the client
  • Selects appropriate methods for collecting and analyzing data, and develop informed recommendations that shape or support the client’s business strategy
  • Articulates how technology enables the business and communicate this effectively to clients while ensuring appropriate technologies and methodologies are used on projects

  • Bachelor degree or above holder in Accounting, Finance, Law or related disciplines, preferably with a recognized professional qualification
  • Solid experience on M&A related tax matters, exposure in big 4 is an advantage
  • More experience, including exposure in commercial area will also be considered
  • Professional qualification accredited by an institute of Taxation, Chartered Accountants, CPA and Law society
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken Chinese and English
  • Proficient in Chinese work processing
