The Company engages in building construction and civil engineering works. China State Hong Kong is among the largest construction contractors in Hong Kong, and is approved by the Works Bureau, to be on the List of Approved Contractors (Group C) for Public Works in the five major categories of building and civil engineering works, namely, “Buildings”, “Port Works”, “Roads and Drainage”, “Site Formation” and “Waterworks”.Requirements:(a)(i) High Diploma or above, major in Building Studies subject;(ii)completed a recognised Technician Apprenticeship in building works; or (iii) at least five years' relevant experience in building works;(b) meet the language proficiency requirements of - (i) Level 2 or above in English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and (ii) Secondary 3 standard or above in Chinese Language, or equivalent.Job Duties:(a) assisting in supervision of contract works in construction sites and facility upkeep works in government buildings, land, properties and slopes;
(b) assisting in examination of works requests for facility upkeep, preparation of cost estimates and working sketches as well as preparation of stock requests;
(c) assisting in monitoring site progress, exercising project quality control and maintaining site records;
(d) assisting in checking compliance of contract requirements, in particular safety, environmental protection and other relevant requirements;
