- Conduct monthly 1:1s, bi-annual and annual performance reviews of team members alongside our T&C framework.
- Constantly analyse, improve, and develop performance against set objectives through online learning and development initiatives and maximise knowledge and ability putting new skills into practice.
- Build professional and lasting relationships with team colleagues and other departments within the Bupa Group.
- Always comply and abide by the requirements of the Data Protection Act and those of the FOS, FCA, and HK IA.
- Maintain full compliance with local regulatory requirements for licensed health insurance sales, including record keeping and client disclosures.
- Collaborate closely with Bupa Global underwriting, compliance, and operational teams to ensure smooth case progression.
- Actively contribute to local sales targets, pipeline reporting, and client servicing goals.
- Support feedback loops between Bupa and partner to enhance product-market fit and client satisfaction.
- Proven experience in selling or advising on international or domestic health insurance, life assurance, financial protection, or other regulated products.
- Demonstrated success in client-facing roles involving affluent or high net worth individuals.
- Background in working within or alongside banks, wealth managers, IFAs or financial services providers preferred.
- Ability to navigate sales and operational processes within highly regulated industries.
- Experience conducting needs-based sales conversations in a professional and culturally sensitive manner.
- Certification or license to sell insurance in the relevant local market or willingness to obtain prior to appointment.
- Ongoing CPD as required by local health or insurance authorities.
- Fluency in English essential; Cantonese or Mandarin highly desirable depending on market.
- Based primarily out of our partner’s private and priority private banking centres in live partnership markets, beginning in Hong Kong and Singapore.
- Occasional work from locations in line with the demands of bancassurance business development with high affluence clients.
- Occasional work from Bupa Global or Bupa Hong Kong head office.
- Expected to travel locally within city regions to banking centres; flexibility for some remote/digital consultations depending on client preference.
- May require irregular hours to meet with clients based on availability.
- Proficiency in CRM and digital sales tools is essential.
