- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the transformation roadmap with clear milestones and governance frameworks, reporting to a Steering Committee
- Regulatory Compliance: Serve as primary liaison with government departments and accreditation agencies to secure licenses and approvals
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with government bodies, industry partners, staff, students, and the wider community
- Operational Excellence: Formulate policies for finance, HR, infrastructure, and IT systems for the new university
- Risk Management: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Team Leadership: Direct academic and administrative teams to drive business development
- Vision Setting: Define mission, vision, and governance framework for self-financed operations
Essential:
- Master’s degree+ and 18+ years management experience with some exposure to the higher education sector
- Senior leadership track record
- Proven experience managing large-scale organizational transformations
- Expertise in stakeholder engagement, high-level financial management, and policy implementation
- Understanding of higher education regulatory requirements and quality assurance
