You will receive active mentoring and sponsorship throughout the programme with key programme performance and evaluation checkpoints to ensure support and progress.Final Placement: Your performance and potential will be reviewed regularly, and post-programme placements will be aligned with your aspirations and strengths.Key Responsibilities:Evaluate technical feasibility and financial viability of transmission projects that meet business objectives and customer requirementsDrive multi-discipline project team to deliver transmission projects to meet planned schedule, optimize budget delivery, and fulfill safety & quality standardsAssure sound technical design in civil, plant and circuits to meet project requirements with effective engagement with both internal and external stakeholdersDrive cost management in project delivery and cope with competitive business environment.Drive innovation and quality improvements in project management process and embrace business challengesEnsure compliance with stringent safety and regulatory requirements in dynamic work sites and foster good safety, health, environmental friendly and quality cultureAssure project quality and performance of project team to ensure all design and construction works are delivered on time, within budget and in good qualityLiaise with government parties and external stakeholders to achieve timely completion of project worksLiaise with internal stakeholders including functional teams, Regions, Technical Services, System Operations, etc. to resolve technical challenges to cope with site constraints, regulatory requirements, outage limitations, resources coordination, etc.Meet ever-increasing expectations from customers on speedy supply provision and high system reliabilityDrive innovative and continuous improvement to enhance project management process, work efficiency and productivityRequirements:A recognized university degree in Engineering or related discipline with minimum 6 years of working experience in the power industry.Excellent business acumen with proven ability to conceptualize, design and carry out strategic analysis and effectively communicate recommendations to stakeholders.Strong analytical & critical thinking skills and numerical reasoning ability.Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.Good project management capability to manage major projects.Ability to identify and assess risks in projects and formulate mitigation measuresGood understanding of the power industry, understanding of Hong Kong regulation system on the industry is a plus.Ability to work independently and deliver quality result under tight schedule.Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin).Work Location: Hung HomApplicants not invited for interview within 6 weeks from the closing date may assume their applications unsuccessful.
