Our client, one of the largest integrated container logistics companies, with robust operations in Hong Kong and across APAC. Job Responsibilities - Lead the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for company's technology operations and system roll-out standard across the Asia-Pacific region; - This role involves regular travel to site offices within APAC to make sure consistency, efficiency, and compliance in tech work-flows throughout the company's regional footprint; - Leverage strong knowledge and experience in the logistics and shipping industry to improve operational efficiency and ensure compliance; - Develop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that align with industry practices and internal policies for technology department; - Conduct regular audits to verify data accuracy and operational quality, identifying opportunities for enhancement; - Collaborate with internal audits teams to evaluate IT system requests and ensure alignment with established KPI and standards; - Prepare comprehensive reports on performance outcomes, presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership; - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to elevate quality assurance; Job Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/ Quality Management/ Business Administration or a related field; - Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Quality Management) are a plus; - AT LEAST 6 - 8 years of experience in quality assurance and compliance within Technology - Department in a shipping industry; Proven experience in QA, tech operations, or IT governance - ideally within logistics, shipping, or supply chain environments. - Strong understanding of logistics shipment operations, supply chain management, and regulatory requirements; - A strong understanding of logistics shipping, particularly sea/ocean freight, involves with both the operational work-flow and the supporting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems; - Proficient in developing and implementing SOPs. - Experience with training development methodologies. - Sounds knowledgeable in quality management tools - software, data analysis tools, and compliance management systems; - Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive compliance initiatives effectively; - Willingness to travel frequently; - Strong communication skills; Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin;A family office-backed shipping company is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for its technology operations across the Asia-Pacific region.
