Aurex group have been engaged by a market leader renowned for delivering high-end luxury retail projects for a Project Design Manager in their Hong Kong office. Their portfolio includes flagship stores, boutiques, and premium commercial spaces for some of the world’s most prestigious brands.We are seeking an experienced Project Design Manager to lead and oversee the design development of luxury retail projects from concept to completion. You will collaborate with top-tier architects, designers, and brands to ensure flawless execution while maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the design process for high-profile luxury retail projects, ensuring alignment with client vision, brand identity and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate with architects, interior designers, engineers and clients to develop and refine design solutions.
  • Oversee design documentation, including drawings, specifications and material selections.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, building regulations and sustainability practices.
  • Lead design reviews, value engineering, and problem-solving to optimize project outcomes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders and design teams throughout the project lifecycle.
To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
  • Proven experience in a Design leadership role within the luxury space.
  • Experienced working on the contractors side.
  • Exceptional knowledge of materials, finishes and construction detailing for luxury environments.
  • Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related field.
  • Must have delivered projects in region.
